Welcome To Park Terrace Gardens (dot org!)

April 5, 2013 in Uncategorized

This website and forum is run by a group of park terrace gardens shareholders, and is completely unaffiliated with the official website and the board. If you are looking for the official website, go here http://gardensnyc.net/

Welcome! The purpose of this website is to facilitate shareholder communication, and to help Park Terrace neighbors stay informed about everything that’s going on in the co-op. The Shareholders Only group and forum is for shareholders only, so if you are one, and want to join, request membership to that group (using your real name) and one of the admins will verify and approve you. Only members of that group can access the non-public forum.

Help 16-Year-Old PTG Resident Henry Burby Go To Italy To Study And Play The Violin

April 13, 2013 in Neighbors

HenryBurby

Henry Burby, a 16-year-old home schooler who lives in Park Terrace Gardens, has been studying violin since he was 9 years old.  He has risen to the position of first chair violin in New York City’s Inter School Orchestra.   The strings coach at ISO has invited him to attend the Narnia Arts Festival in Narni, Italy for three weeks this summer.  She chose him to be the violinist for a student string quartet she is bringing to the festival from New York.  He will get to study with great teachers and work alongside students from all over the world.  Henry needs help with tuition, room and board, and airfare to Rome and back, so a crowdfunding page has been set up on the GoFundMe site.

Green Committee Heating Survey

April 5, 2013 in PTG Flyer

The Park Terrace Gardens Green Committee is conducting a heating survey as part of an overall energy reduction plan which should lead to more comfortable apartments and lower heating oil costs.  PTG residents should have received a survey form slipped under their door but, in case you did not or misplaced it, here is a copy.  221 forms have been returned so far.

Clicking on the image of the form below should bring up a full-size version, suitable for printing. Alternately, the link below it, which reads PTGHeatingSurvey should bring up a PDF version which can be saved to your hard drive and printed out.

Completed forms can be returned via a designated pouch in your laundry room or by handing them in at the Management Office.  Feel free to add comments to the back of the form or to send them in email to greencommittee@gardensnyc.net (and note that this is the correct spelling; it is misspelled on the form).
